Digital Photography Workshop Offered at Center for Creative Retirement

Registration is now open for the “How To Use Your Digital Camera” workshop from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 20, and from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 27. The course is open to students of all ages and skills and will take place at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center. Award-winning photographer Bill Roskind will help students understand the correct use of the flash and exposure in unusual settings. Students will also learn how to emphasize and improve color for creative purposes, how to adjust the shutter to capture water droplets or foam and how to avoid unattractive backgrounds. Cost for the workshop is $150.
