UNC Asheville’s Ramsey Library Hosts Talks by Faculty Authors

The Asheville community will have the opportunity to engage with two members of the UNC Asheville faculty in this semester’s “Brown Bag Book Talks with UNC Asheville Faculty Authors.” Representing the Literature and History departments, the lecture series offers lively and engaging stories from the professors’ own publishing experiences. The one-hour lectures will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Special Collections, third floor of the Ramsey Library. The events are free and open to the public.
--Feb. 23: Sam Schuman, former UNC Asheville chancellor, will discuss his book, “Seeing the Light: Religious Colleges in Twenty-First Century America,” (John Hopkins University Press, 2009).
--April 20: History Professor Grant Hardy will read from his forthcoming book, “Understanding the Book of Mormon: A Reader’s Guide” (Oxford University Press).
