UNC Asheville Foundation Board of Directors Elects New Members

The UNC Asheville Foundation recently elected four new members to its board of directors. Each will serve a three-year term. The new members are Martha Boyd, vice president, general counsel and secretary for Volvo Construction Equipment, Asheville; Timothy F. Johnson, owner of Leadership 101, Durham; Tony Fraga, founder of the FIRC Group Inc., Asheville; and Ron Storto, vice president of hospitality at Biltmore Farms, Asheville. 

These new members of UNC Asheville's Foundation board will join current members James Hegglund, chair; Charles H. Wood Jr., Volvo Construction Equipment, vice chair; Michael Andry, U.S. Trust – Bank of America; Charles Atkins, Cherokee Equity Holdings; William Boyum, Cherokee Supreme Court; David Brown, Merrill Lynch; Guadalup Chavarria, Studio Chavarria; Bobby Daugherty; Al Davis, Capital Bank; J.W. Davis, Carolina First Bank; Charles Frederick, Southern Community Bank & Trust; Dianna B. Goodman; George Goosman III; David Hammett, RBC Bank; Harry Harrison, YMI Cultural Center; James Hegglund; Tammy Huffman, UNC Asheville Management and Accountancy Department; Craig Madison, Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa; Courtland Mercer, UNC Asheville Student Government Association; George W.
