Media Relations Resources

The News Services Office, part of the team that makes up Communications and Marketing, works to enhance the reputation and visibility of UNC Asheville's faculty, students, staff, and programs through a variety of communications efforts.

Our Services Include:

• Developing and marketing news stories through news releases, pitches and backgrounders to local, regional and national media
• Writing and disseminating news releases concerning student, faculty and staff achievements, and upcoming cultural and academic events  
• Providing the media with faculty experts
• Helping students promote their campus events in area publications, radio and television
