October 20-21, 2007 in Taipei, Taiwan
"The Forum, which is organized by the graduate Institute of Elder Education of National Chung Cheng University, is a two-day practice-oriented seminar, intending to introduce exemplary programs and organizations to Taiwanese practitioners, researchers, policy makers, and the general public.
With the elderly population exceeding 10% of the national population at the end of 2006, how to promote concepts and attitudes of active and graceful aging through educational intervention and programs has become imperative in Taiwan.
We are eager to learn from international successful experiences for advancing
the state of Taiwanese practice in elder education as well as relevant policy
development and implications"
