Purpose:
Suppport College for Seniors faculty
to maximize effective outcomes
Reports to:
College for Seniors Committee
Responsbilities:
1. Provide for mentoring of new instructors.
2. Jointly with other committees participate in Faculty Orientation, Curriculum and CFS meetings.
3. Sponsor work shops to enhance or develop faculty skills.
4. Organize faculty brainstorming sessions to address problems, develop new ideas such as alternate ways of teaching.
5. Assume responsibility for course evaluation process and subsequent actions; Interact with instructors as necessary.
6. Develop a system for voluntary faculty of their teaching experience.
7. Maintain CFS instructor communications by updating “Instructors Guide”, FDC parts of Website, Bulletin Board.
8. Promote continued evaluation of the Educational Leadership.
9. Collaborate with other CFS committees: such as identifying and recommending potential teaching staff and topics to the
Curriculum Committee.
