NCCCR VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are the backbone of the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement. They are active in all aspects of the Center from governance through all Programs and Projects. There are needs for volunteers covering a wide range of expertise and experience.

Members of the Center may volunteer for:

Center Steering Council committees
Develop activities for existing programs such as:
- College for Seniors
- Leadership Asheville Seniors
- Creative Retirement Weekend
- Un-retirement Opportunity
- Creative Retirement in Uncertain Times seminar
Develop and coordinate new programs such as:
- Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
- Travel and Trips
- Membership events
Develop and coordinate community and campus projects such as:
- Senior Career Advisors
- Dorm Talks
College for Seniors Faculty - instructors, facilitators, coordinators
Reuter Center Facility operations
