Are you interested in exploring the opportunities and difficulties associated with mid life transitions both for those approaching retirement and for those wanting to launch new careers and new lives? Would you like to share with and learn from others embarking on similar journeys? Would you find it stimulating to engage with skilled facilitators in stimulating seminars and workshops? Two long running programs attract participants from across the national and a third new program offers Asheville area residents some innovative opportunities.
The Creative Retirement Exploration Weekend enables
participants to examine the choices and challenges of moving in
retirement with a special examination of Western North Carolina. Seminars are facilitated by NCCCR members who
have settled in WNC and area professionals. The program is held annually over the
Memorial Day weekend. Paths To a Creative
Retirement Transitions...Life Planning for Boomers is a series of workshops to help Baby Boomers, or those who think like Boomers, understand and plan for mid-life challenges, changes and opportunities. The workshops are held on weekday evenings and are designed for residents in the Asheville/Buncombe County area.
