LAS class
XVII members took on a challenge from the local Habitat for
Humanity Home Store..."figure out and bring to fruition a
system for sorting and organizing a truckload of hardware so
that we can sell it to homeowners and contractors and use
the proceeds to build more houses."
Through some engineering and some trial and error, the LAS
XVII group has now converted storage shelves, collected
storage materials and devised a system. These photos show a
group of NCCCR members testing to system while sorting
cabinet knobs and pulls and gate latches and hinges.
More
volunteers from LAS and NCCCR members are needed for group
sort sessions at the Habitat location on Meadow Road. Click

Habitat Project
