NCCCR Finances
The Finance Committee, in cooperation with the staff, prepares the
NCCCR budget. The Committee normally begins the budget cycle in
January and presents the budget to the Executive Committee in
March and to the Center Steering Council in April. The staff
submits the approved budget to UNCA in April. The fiscal year runs
July 1-June 30.
While the budget describes an essential
aspect of how the Center funds its programs, it by no means accounts
for all of the Center's resources. The recent completion of the Reuter Center,
whose $4.3 million construction cost was entirely funded by
contributions, services provided by UNCA, and the ongoing donations
of thousands of volunteer man-hours are other vital Center
resources.
