Biography
I
started painting about eight years ago using
acrylics paints in an arts therapy class in
Cleveland. I had long enjoyed the visual arts
and, I think, wished to paint "someday." It was
difficult to quell "the critic," but with
encouragement I began to enjoy both the process
and the results. I made the leap to painting at
home in acrylics and then watercolor on my own.
For my 70th birthday, I gave myself
a gift of an intensive painting weekend with an
artist named Aviva Gold (Painting From The
Source) and came away excited and awed by
“process painting.” I began to share it with
others from my home and at the College for
Seniors. |
