Dr. Reynolds received her bachelor's degree in biology from Earlham College, a
master's degree in
entomology, and a Ph. D. in ecology from the University of Georgia. She has been
a birder since the early 1970s and teaches a course in Avian Ecology and
Conservation for UNCA, Department of Environmental Studies. She lives in Asheville
where she spends much of her free time hiking and birding with her husband. She
has traveled extensively in the U.S. and Caribbean where her favorite activity was
birding.
