Please Note: Auditions are required for all music degree programs including the B.S. in Music Technology

The General Music Studies track provides an opportunity for students to engage in a wide range of musical and academic studies. Students may emphasize areas of special interest such as performance, composition, computer music, film scoring, et cetera.

All majors are required to pass Senior Comprehensive Examinations in Music Theory & Music History, complete a Senior Project (B.S.), or perform a senior recital (B.A.). Internships of up to 6 hours credit are available to qualified students.
A minimum of 120 credits is required for the Bachelor of Arts in Music (General Studies).
