Students - Do you sing or play an instrument??
Click here to find out about performance opportunities available at UNCA during the Spring 2007 Semester!!!

UNCA offers three degree programs: The Bachelor of Science in Music Technology; the Bachelor of Arts in Music/Jazz Studies track, and the Bachelor of Arts in Music/General Studies track. All programs are grounded in a nationally acclaimed liberal arts curriculum. This special feature of the UNCA experience helps students prepare not only for entry-level jobs but also, and more importantly, for leadership roles in the music professions of the twenty-first century.

Bachelor of Science in Music Technology

We have a wide array of equipment including Pro Tools 3 TDM, 1 Digi001, 1 Digi002, and 12 M-Box systems. We also have an electronic music lab fully-outfitted with gear invented and built by electronic music pioneer (and former UNCA Music Professor), Dr. Bob Moog.  Courses are taught in UNCA's recording studio, our 5.1 surround sound mixing/editing/mastering studio, and our 14-station electronic keyboard classroom.

Bachelor of Arts in Music/Jazz Studies Track
