OH 202
is one of our several "Smart" classrooms, which are each
equipped with a PC, data projector, and high speed internet
connection. The data projector displays the computer desktop
on a large screen. With this setup, an instructor can
display graphic images, documents, web pages, and PowerPoint
presentations. The Smart Classroom setup can also playback
music CDs and video DVDs. Each Smart Classroom also has a
switch box and cables to connect students' own laptops to
the data projector for presentations.

The OH
228 Computer Lab is mainly for student use. Its PCs operate
on Windows XP and are equipped with ProSeries, SPSS, Storm,
QuickBooks, and Smart technology. |

Owen Hall's
decorative wall, sponsored by the Art Department, was
created by UNCA faculty, staff, and students. Anyone wanting
to participate created 4 individual tiles to become a part
of this permanent display. The wall is visible from
University Heights. |
