Hill. Department Chair 1990 - 98. Before teaching at UNCA, Dr.
Lisnerski worked as a Health Care Administrator at The Rural Health
Agency. Dr. Lisnerski’s awards include the 2007-2008 Ruth and Leon
Feldman Professorship for Outstanding Service. He has published in
top tier peer reviewed journals such as International Journal
of Industrial Ergonomics and North Carolina Medical
Journal. His courses include Integrative Liberal Studies
Colloquium First Year Experience, Principles of Management, Critical
Issues in Health Care, Senior Seminar, and The Future and The
Individual (Humanities). His research interests are smokeless
tobacco use by elementary school children and industrial health and
safety issues, and quantitative methods.
