Lecturer Hinchliffe has a B.A. from Albion College and an M.B.A. from University of Dayton.  His professional certifications include: Certificated Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Fraud Examiner.  Working with audit committees and reporting to boards of directors of multi-billion dollar companies, he has almost three decades of worldwide internal audit experience at Fortune 500 companies.  He is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, North Carolina Association of CPA’s, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.  Mr. Hinchliffe’s awards at Florida Atlantic University include Accounting Professor of the Year 2002-03 and the College of Business’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in 2003-04. He is a lecturer for financial accounting, accounting systems, auditing, and a LSIC course titled Life Skills.  He also serves the professional community and the non profit arenas by providing continuing education seminars.
