A Letter from the Chairman of ISIAME 2008

The 7th International Symposium on the Industrial Applications of the Mössbauer Effect (ISIAME) will be held at the Eötvös Loránd University Budapest (ELTE), the oldest and largest university in Hungary, with more than 370-year-old traditions. ELTE has had numerous world-famous scholars and four Nobel Prize laureates among its teachers and alumni. The University is located near the bank of the Danube River on the Buda side of the city and can be easily reached by public transportation. The Science Campus will provide an ideal environment for interactions among researchers engaged in the broad field of Mössbauer spectroscopy and its industrial applications.
