This assignment was created on Friday, 11/30/2007 and covers the following topic:

Unit 3

Here are the specific instructions that the instructor has submitted for this Peer Review Module: You are to write a 5 7 page paper on your movie, developing the insights you gained in your second feeder. In this paper you are to interpret your film (make a point about your film) based on your research from the second feeder.

You will only need to use the sources that you found for your second feeder, although you are free to use any more sources you wish. Use MLA format for citation.

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW. You are to discuss your paper from a scholarly perspective, so do not focus on plot summary or entertainment value. This is a paper for academics by an academic, so use appropriate authority and formality.

You can also find out more about using the module by reading the detailed instructions below. For general information on conducting peer reviews, you may want to refer to

This peer review module allows students to submit and provide commentary about drafts of papers. Submitted papers can be accessed by clicking on the View Papers button. All of the reviews can be accessed with the View Reviews button.

To submit a paper, first select the Submit a Paper button. A form will appear in the left hand frame of the module. Enter you name and email address at the top of the form, then paste your paper into the text field. Style formatting features such as bold faced or italicized text will be lost when you submit the paper, but you should be able to maintain the paragraph and organizational formatting if you check that there are two hard returns for each paragraph before submitting the paper. Be sure to use the button at the bottom of the paper submission form to complete the submission process.

To review a paper, first select the View Papers button. Select the paper that you wish to review from the list of submitted papers that appears. When the paper is displayed, choose the Review Paper button at the top of the paper. A review form will appear in the left hand frame of the module. Enter your name and email address at the top of the review form, then respond to the prompts that have been set up by the instructor. When finished, select the Submit Review button. Your review will be added to the list of reviews and displayed in the left hand frame of the module.
