National Survey of Student Engagement
What are the NSSE benchmarks?
Five key areas of educational performance are
measured: level of academic challenge, active and
collaborative learning; student-faculty interaction;
enriching education experiences, and supportive campus
environment.
In the bar charts below, UNC Asheville's
benchmarks are shown with the benchmarks of its
Carnegie Peers, which are the 113 participating
private and public baccalaureate - arts and sciences liberal
arts colleges, and
NSSE 2007, which are all 610 colleges and universities
in this year's survey.
