Faculty Information

All UNCA faculty can participate in the Integrative Liberal Studies Program.

Some faculty teach LSIC courses for beginning and transfer students while others teach the senior capstone colloquia. Many faculty teach courses that comprise the Core Cluster in the Humanities or the Topical Clusters. Faculty are also involved in developing new clusters as their interests evolve. Across the curriculum, our faculty teach a wide range of writing, information literacy, quantitative and diversity intensive courses. Every semester our faculty prepare new intensive courses to meet student needs and interests.

Deadlines for Proposals:

Here are the dates by which proposals for Intensives, new Clusters and Cluster course inclusions should come in:

To count a course for Fall, 2008:
 proposals should be received by May 2, 2008.

To count a course for Spring, 2009:
proposals should be received by September 8, 2008.

To count a course for Fall, 2009:
proposals should be received by February 2, 2009.
