has developed several certification programs to
encourage employees to develop core competencies and
meet professional goals. To receive certification as an
Administrative Professional
or
Frontline Service Professional,
plan to complete at least 8 eligible professional
development courses. For employees in the
Administrative Professional
track, look
for the “AP”
symbol following the course title. Employees in
the
Frontline Service Professional Track
should look
for “FSP.”

Banner Navigation AP,

This class is
designed to provide users that are new to the
Banner Administrative Information System with
knowledge and skills necessary to navigate
within the system. The class will cover basic
navigation topics that include: Banner menus,
forms, toolbars, queries, QuickFlows and Help
features. All classes will be held in
Robinson Hall in Room 006.
Note:
Participants must have supervisor pre-approval
before attending this class.

and faster receipt

offering is a
hand-on course for
anyone who processes
purchase
requisitions.
Participants will
learn how to enter,
cancel, delete, or
change a purchase
requisition in
Banner. A brief
review of purchasing
thresholds and
general purchasing
information will be
discussed. Bring
copies of 2-3
requisitions or
purchase orders
(either current or
old) with you as we
will be entering
requisitions in a
test instance of
Banner.

There are two pre-requisites for the class.

Participants must first attend Banner Navigation Training with

Participants must complete a Banner User Request form found at:
This offering is a beginning course
for anyone who is a financial manager or responsible for balancing a
budget. Participants will learn how to find a cash balance for a
fund in Banner, how to find the detail of charges and deposits to a
fund, and how to find a list of purchase orders for a particular
fund or for an entire department. Participants will work in
Internet Native Banner to assist in the learning process. |
