Benefits and Employment
Orientation
Each
new employee attends a scheduled orientation with the Benefits Manager within
his/her first three working days. The employee is welcomed to the University,
introduced to services provided by the department and provided with an overview
of benefits options.
The
Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9 Form) must be completed on the first day of employment. The
employee is advised to bring acceptable documents to the Human Resources Office
to complete the I-9
Form. The list of acceptable documents can be found at the back of the
I-9
Form. Employees must present the original documents. The individual
may not begin employment unless this form is completed.
