NC-ASAP
is a voluntary benefits service offered to the public employees of North
Carolina in partnership with the Department of State Treasurer. Employees earn
rebates from everyday shopping that will be deposited into the savings account
of their choice.

actions required by employer after they distribute information

Mechanics:

earn rebates from shopping with NC-ASAP merchants that are distributed into
their savings accounts

charges merchants administrative fees to participate

enroll online or by calling the toll-free phone number 1-877-ASAP BUCKS (877-272-7282),
Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This
is a multi-option "529" college savings plan that offers a wide new range of
investment options to save for college. Contributions are normally made through
payroll deduction and are managed by separate investment managers.
The
savings options offer a wide variety of investments to meet most any investment
goals and risk tolerance. Earnings are free from federal and state taxes as long
as the funds are used to pay for qualified educational expenses. More
