-
The Video Lending Library is available and
FREE to UNC Asheville
resident students only and these students must have a
valid UNC Asheville student ID with them to check out a
video or game.
-
Regular hours for
the Video Library are seven (7) days a week from
8:00 PM to 11 PM.
In the event of snow days (classes cancelled) it will be
open extra hours during the day.
-
A resident
student may check out one (1) game or movie per visit.
-
Each movie or
game must be returned by 11:00 PM the following day.
For example, if you check out a video at 8:00 PM on Friday
night, it has to be returned by 11:00 PM on Saturday night.
-
There is a $2.00
per day late fee charged to your student account whenever a
movie or game is not returned on time. When a movie is
seven (7) days late or is returned damaged, it will be
considered non-returnable and the student account will be
charged $20.00. When a game is seven (7) days late or
is returned damages, the charge for it will be $50.00.
If a game system is damaged or not returned, the charge is
$100.00.
-
When returning a
movie/game, it is the student's responsibility to make sure
that the Video Library Assistant (VLA) checks off that they
have returned the video/game.
-
The Video Library
does not have waiting lists and is unable to hold specific
movies/games for individuals.
-
An individual is
not allowed to renew a check out of a movie/game on the same
day it is returned. For example, if you return a movie
on Wednesday night at 9:30, you must wait until Thursday to
check out that movie again.
-
If there is a
movie or game which you would like to see us add to the
Video Library, please click
here, leave a written
request with the VLA, or bring your written request by the
