built-in screen.
French Broad River Room - HU

- set as a "couch room" meaning a casual room that is
all couches along the walls. Seating for up to 21 people. This room
also has a white-board and built-in screen.
Swannanoa

- this room is set as a 'seminar room' for 39, with tables in rows
facing the front, with chairs. The furniture in this rooms does
not leave the room, but can be reset by the user. There is a white-board
and LARGE screen in this room.

- Board room style with seating around a table for 20. Screen is
built-in. STUDENT GROUPS HAVE PRIORITY RESERVATIONS in this room.

The Mountain Suites - 221-224 - can be combined in various ways
to have larger rooms. All four used together can accommodate up
to 170 people in theater style. Click HERE for some examlpes of set up options.
Performance
Spaces
The Grotto
- on the first floor, has a built in 23'x16' wood stage; audio inputs
on front of stage; built-in stage lighting(minimal); possible green-room
available; "coffee-house" atmosphere for 80+ people, with divider
wall down. This room does NOT get changed or altered. If a sound
and lighting tech is required, payment is the responsibility of
the group(2 weeks advance notice is required).
Alumni Hall - HU
159
- a large 4,000 square-feet multipurpose space for lecture, banquets,
concerts, seminars and expositions.
PLEASE
NOTE: Charges are in effect for certain room use. Failure to pay
invoices will result in suspension of reservation priviledges.
