Tribute Gifts

When you make a gift in honor or in memory of a person, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your honoree and/or their family feel deeply treasured. These gifts keep on giving, helping a deserving student afford college or providing funds for undergraduate research projects that can change the world. A recent example: when senior James Karpinos was tragically killed in an accident a few years ago, his family established an endowed fund in his memory. That fund is worth more than $25,000 now, and helps many students defray college expenses and even attend college.

You can pay tribute to a family member, professor, or friend with an annual gift in his or her honor or memory. It’s easy to do this; simply tell us who you wish to honor when you make your gift and we’ll send acknowledgements.
