Senior Class Campaign

Hello Class of 2012!

We invite you to celebrate your upcoming graduation with a gift to the Senior Campaign—it’s a way to express gratitude for your University experience. This gift also establishes a pleasurable habit of giving back, something we hope you learned in your time here.

What does the Senior Campaign support? You get to choose where your dollars go—your departments, scholarships, the Chancellor’s Excellence Fund, or any campus program. And with your gift of $25, we’ll send two tribute cards to those you designate, letting them know how they enriched your life and made a difference. These cards do not specify the amount given; they only acknowledge your thoughtfulness.

When you contribute you become a member of our Young Alumni Philanthropist (YAP) society, named in honor of Rocky I, our bulldog mascot.

Your giving tells other donors, such as foundations, how much you care. It also increases the percentage of alumni support, something other donors look at as they decide to support the University. Alumni giving is also used to calculate national rankings by U.S. News & World Report. Higher rankings in this prestigious list increase the value of your degree!

2012 Senior Campaign Deadline

Make your gift by November 30, 2011 (December graduates) and April 15, 2012 (May graduates).  This allows time to send your tribute cards before commencement. Gifts received after April 15, but before June 30, will still count toward the campaign total, but may not be processed for commencement.

You can donate securely online, turn in your gift to a Senior Class Board member or deliver to Sophia Ungert in the UNC Asheville Development Office located in 311 Owen Hall CPO 1800, Asheville, NC 28804.
