Your Annual Gift makes an impact at UNC Asheville. Harry Johnson, '08, has been giving back to UNC Asheville since he was a student here. Harry majored in Environmental Studies at UNC Asheville. He was also a University Scholar and member of the Senior Class Board. Since his graduation from UNC Asheville, Harry has pursued both work and continued education in environmental management and policy. He has a master's degree in city and regional planning from UNC Chapel Hill, and he is now enrolled in law school at UNC, where he will focus on environmental law and policy.
When asked why he gives to UNC Asheville, Harry states, "UNC Asheville is my home. I feel a responsibility, especially in tough budgetary times, to help support my alma mater. My professors helped prepare me for a successful career and I want to ensure that current and future students at UNC Asheville are afforded that same opportunity. I want the students of UNC Asheville to have a full and well-rounded college experience and a successful basketball team. I support a university that is committed to providing a strong liberal arts education centered around the student. And I love Asheville."
