Privacy Policy

The UNC Asheville Foundation periodically recognizes donors through a listing in our annual report and other celebratory communications. At the time a gift is made, you may request anonymity which means your name will still be linked to the gift in our records, you will still receive a gift receipt in your name, but we will not include your name in published or public communications.

The UNC Asheville Foundation, Inc. uses your contact information (e-mail, telephone number, and address) to send you gift receipts, inform you about upcoming activities and giving opportunities at UNC Asheville and the UNC Asheville Foundation, and for internal analysis and record keeping. You always have the right to withhold permission for us to contact you, including specifying phone, mail, or e-mail. 

The UNC Asheville Foundation will not give, rent, or sell your personal information to outside parties. We do, however, occasionally contract with vendors to provide services in the University’s name that we believe you may value. These vendors will only send you materials in our name and cannot maintain copies of our data.  

The UNC Asheville Foundation contracts with Contribute.com to provide our donors with a secure online giving opportunity. Every step of processing your online transaction has been designed with security and your privacy in mind. Consistent with the UNC Asheville Foundation’s policies, Contribute.com has a strict policy never to give, sell, rent or trade any personally identifiable information.
