1. Forums—We briefly discussed the Faculty and Staff Forum on General Education, which is scheduled for Friday, 8 November, 4:15 pm-5:45 pm, in Laurel Forum. We will need to work to get out the attendance. Also there will be two student forums, Monday and Tuesday, 11-12 November, 4:30-5:45 pm, in DH 242. Katz will call for volunteers to take notes. Katz and Maegan Spencer will facilitate.
2. Principles for Design—GERTF as a whole reviewed the document. There was much discussion of the first principles in the section on Program Structure. It was suggested that we add introductory sections on History and Purpose of the document. Specific revision suggestions for wording were adopted for many of the principle statements and members agreed to continue their work on the document via email.
