UNC Asheville Foundation Mission

The mission of the UNC Asheville Foundation, Inc. is to secure, manage, and distribute private support to enhance the growth and development of UNC Asheville.

Foundation offices and the University’s Development Office are located on the third floor of Owen Hall on the UNC Asheville campus.

Under the leadership of a 25-36 member volunteer Board of Directors that meets five times a year, the Foundation—through the University Development Office—receives gifts for the University, solicits donations, manages assets, and distributes funds in accordance with prescribed procedures.

The combined endowed assets of UNC Asheville and UNC Asheville Foundation currently total more than $25 million.
