Food For Thought visit to Blue Ridge Food Ventures

 

1. Preparing for your visit:

2. EVERY student participating in this activity must fill out two forms: The Student Participation Agreement and the Medical Authorization. Your professor can give a form to you or you can access them at the links listed below.

3. Plan your travel. Ahead of time, coordinate with other members of the group to carpool.

We will all meet in the parking lot across from Zageir Hall and beside the parking deck at 2:45 SHARP on Monday, March 24. Drivers, arrive with your car; everyone, be prompt.

 

We will leave campus no later than 2:50 pm. If you are not there, you will be left behind. The tour will start at 3:15 sharp.

 

If you have signed up for this trip, UNCA is paying for your tour. Out of courtesy to our host, please show up if you have committed. SOC 385 students are required to attend.

4. DRIVING DIRECTIONS

 

BRFV is located in the Small Business Incubator Building on the A-B Tech Enka Campus in Asheville, NC.

Driving directions from I-40 West: Take Exit 44. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, turn right. Go to the fourth traffic light and turn left on Sand Hill Road. Turn immediately into the first entrance on the left and arrive onto the campus. BRFV is straight ahead in the red brick wing of the building facing you. A sign over the red double doors welcomes you to Blue Ridge food Ventures.
