Move-In Day, Convocation and Rockypalooza 2012

In Bulldogs tradition, the class of 2016 was welcomed at the University Heights curb for Move-In Day. Their vehicles sagged under the weight of clothes, TVs, linens and all the little things that make a life in the residence halls feel like home. With the help of 150 volunteers—including students, alumni, faculty and staff—most of the 550 incoming freshmen were able to unload and get situated in their rooms by lunchtime. Then it was off to Convocation at the Sherrill Center, and an evening of fun and new acquaintances at Rockypalooza. In all, it was great first day of college.
