101  Intro to Ethics and Social Institutions (3)

ESI 101 is a course introduces students to ethics and the application of ethics to both the processes and outcomes of social decision-making.  After an introduction to basic ethical theories, students will acquire an understanding of the structure of social institutions and the process through which social choices are made.  Central to the analysis is a study of ethics as a criteria for assessment of social decision-making with emphasis on the study of particular issues of social choice.   For more information, see the most recent ESI 101 Syllabus.
