Creating a New Desktop
Microsoft FrontPage Website

To set up a new website on the desktop

Create new folder to be the website:

• Right-click on desktop. Select New | Folder

• Name the new folder "Math"

Launch FrontPage:

• Click Start

• Select Office XP | Microsoft FrontPage

• Select File | New |Page or Web...

• Select Empty Web

• Select Browse

• Select Desktop

• Select Math

• Click Open

• Click Ok

• Select File | New |Page or Web...

• Select Blank Page

• Edit the web page.

• Select File | Save

• Name  “index.htm”

• Select File | Exit

• The new Math icon (indicating a website/folder) will be visible on the desktop.

• Note:
  The folder on the desktop can be posted to a MS FrontPage website or copied by the click/drag or copy/paste methods to other folders or media including floppies, zip cartridges, CD-RW/R or USB drives.
