This site maps the Program/Course/Assignment - Standard Alignment Paths for
the currently accepted North Carolina state Core, Technology and Diversity
Standards.
The Department of Education at the University of North Carolina Asheville is
committed to providing preservice teachers with meaningful, authentic
assignments aligned with state and national standards. Candidates should be
aware of the purpose(s) of each assignment and of the faculty member's
rationale for its inclusion in course requirements.
To that end, the following maps/matrices addresses each performance-based
assignment required in each course; for each assignment, standards met are
designated.
