Traditional Educational Resources

When you are trying to integrate technology into your unit plans, don't forget about the more traditional resources.  Books, videos, tape players, maps, bulletin boards, diagrams, charts, posters, magazines, hands-on manipulatives, games, and other traditional materials should also be a part of your unit.  A student-centered teaching approach requires that students have access to a variety of instructional materials, both traditional and electronic.

You should go to your media center and discuss the options available in your school.  Sometimes, if what you want is not available, you can get interlibrary loans.  Here are some online sites about traditional resources.
