Good place to start if you've never used AppleWorks.

Center for Teaching and Learning
This site comes from UNC-Asheville.  After getting this site up, click on On-line Resources.  You will get links to Microsoft's tutorials and help on FrontPage, Windows 98, MS Office 97 (PC),  MS Office 98 (Mac), and PowerPoint.

Online tutorials for PowerPoint, FrontPage, and others.  You can also print out instructions.

Another Tutorial on the Basic and Advanced Technology Skills
This site is at NC A&T University.  It provides a short tutorial on each of the basic and advanced technology skills required by the state of North Carolina.  You can learn technology skills and prepare for the multiple choice test on technology by using this web site. 

Tutorial on HyperStudio
This tutorial was done at NC A&T University and is good as an introduction to HyperStudio.

A more extensive tutorial on using HyperStudio.  This one was created at NC State Univervsity.

Resources for Learning Technical Skills
This site comes from NC State University and it has many very good tutorials on a wide range of software applications from word processing, databases, and spreadsheets to multimedia applications.  This is another very good place to go to learn on your own. 

Information Technology Skills Assessment and Tutorial
This site is maintained at UNC-Chapel and it has links to tutorials in various areas, such as:  Basic Operations; Word Processing; Email/Internet Communications; World Wide Web; Multimedia Communications; Disk/File Management; Maintenance and Troubleshooting; Spread Sheet/Graphing; Database; and Presentation Software.  This is an excellent source of tutorials of a wide range of technology and software applications.  You should try this one out!! 

MacIntosh Tips and Tutorials
This site has several tips on using the MacIntosh, links to several tutorials on ClarisWorks, software reviews, and more. 

Lightspan - Online Learning for School and Home
Help with learning how to integrate technology, create and use web pages for instruction, and much more.

Web Teacher
One of the better tutorials for teachers on using the Internet and web pages for educational purposes.  If you are interested in using the Internet in the classroom, this is a must see.
