Announcements

1. The economics department is pleased to announce the introduction of a new course of study, the Concentration in Environmental Economics.  This concentration should be of particular interest to students who wish to investigate economic issues and policies in relation to the environment and natural resources.  It will be open for declarations beginning Fall 2001.  Visit the environmental economics link to learn more about this concentration;  visit the how to become an economics major or minor link to learn how to declare the economics major or minor.
2.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC thanks the UNCA Economics Club for participating in the Bowl for Kids' Sake, 2001 and raising $610.00.  To find out more about the Economics Club, speak to Dr. Sulock.

Anyone can submit announcements to the economics announcements page!  Send your economics department, club, employment or subject-related announcements to the econ department webmaster.
