 Visitor Teleconference Parking does not have signs posted labeling it as Visitor Parking. Please park in parking lots 7a or 7b.  Videoconference facilities are located in Robinson Hall and Ramsey Library.

How do I get to UNC Asheville from the south (Hendersonville)?

From I-26 W/ US 74 W:

 -Merge onto I-240 E toward Asheville / US-70 / UNC Asheville.

-Merge onto US-70 W / US-19 N / US-23 N via Exit 4A on the LEFT toward UNC-A / Weaverville

-Take the NC-251 exit- Exit 25- toward University of North Carolina-Asheville

-Take the ramp toward UNC Asheville

-Turn RIGHT onto Broadway St S.

-After two stoplights, Turn LEFT onto W T Weaver Blvd.

-At the traffic circle, take a LEFT onto campus.

How do I get to UNC Asheville from the north (Burnsville/ Spruce Pine)?

From I- 26 E /19-23 S:

 -Take the NC-251 exit- EXIT 25- toward University of North Carolina-Asheville

-Take the ramp toward UNC Asheville

-Turn LEFT onto Broadway St S.

-After two stoplights, Turn LEFT onto W T Weaver Blvd.

-At the traffic circle, take a LEFT onto campus.

How do I get to UNC Asheville from the west (Waynesville)?

From I-40 E :

 -Merge onto I-240 E via Exit 46 B on the LEFT towards Asheville

-Merge onto I-240 E / US-19 N / US-23 N via Exit 3B toward Asheville

-Merge onto US-70 W / US-19 N / US-23 N via Exit 4A on the LEFT toward UNC-A / Weaverville.

-Take the NC-251 exit- EXIT 25- toward University of North Carolina-Asheville

-Take the ramp toward UNC Asheville

-Turn RIGHT onto Broadway St S.

-After two stoplights, Turn LEFT onto W T Weaver Blvd.

-At the traffic circle, take a LEFT onto campus.

How do I get to UNC Asheville from the east (Marion/Morganton)?

From I-40 West :

 -Merge onto I-240 W via Exit 53B toward Asheville.

-Take Exit 5A toward US-25 / Merrimon Ave.

-Stay STRAIGHT to go onto Elm St

-Turn LEFT onto ramp.

-Turn RIGHT onto Broadway St N.

-At the second stoplight, turn RIGHT onto W T Weaver Blvd.

-At the traffic circle, take a LEFT onto campus

Parking – Parking passes are not needed between May 15th and August 15th.

You must obtain a parking pass and park only in the Parking Lot indicated in the lower part of the map above. 

To Apply for a Parking Pass send your Name, Email Address, Program Attending, and Number of Parking Passes needed to unca_videoreq@unca.edu .   

Campus Police ticket cars outside designated lots and/or without parking passes.

If you have limited time before the conference and have not applied for a Parking Pass prior to your conference:

Follow University Heights (arrows drawn on map) and proceed to Campus Police to get a Visitor Parking Pass.  Campus Police is indicated on the map as the pink block on the left.

 

If you have 15-20 minutes to spare before conference and have not applied for a Parking Pass prior to your conference:

Follow directions to Steelcase Teleconference Center to obtain parking pass, even if your conference is scheduled to occur in Square D Teleconference Center.

 

For UNCA or AGC students:

If you are a UNCA or Asheville Graduate Center student, you must obtain a year-long parking decal.

  2. To Square D Teleconference Center (Ramsey Library 011):

To Steelcase Teleconference Center (Robinson Hall 129):

**for directions with elevator access, continue down**

 

-From parking lot, head towards Rhoades/ Robinson Hall

-Enter and take stairway immediately to the left

-From stairs, enter lobby, entrance to Steelcase is to the left

-From parking lot, head towards Rhoades/ Robinson Hall

-Elevator is through the doorway and to the right, down the hall and around the corner to the left

-From elevator, take a right into the lobby, and entrance to Steelcase is on the right

To Square D Teleconference Center (Ramsey Library 011):

**for directions with elevator access, continue down**

 

-Follow directions for Steelcase Teleconference Center to the lobby

-From the lobby, go outside through main entrance

-Enter the library (the building to the right-facing the quad)

-Take an immediate right and go down the stairs

-Entrance to the Square D Teleconference center is down the hall on the left

-From the elevator, take a left and out through the main entrance

-There is a ramp from the sidewalk on the right side of the quad

-The elevator is located through the library entrance and after the back doors

-From the elevator, go through the doors and to the right where there will be a hallway to the Media Center check out desk

-Entrance to the Square D Teleconference center is down the hall on the left
