Funk, rock, hip-hop and classical might not seem like natural partners, but violinist/composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (known as DBR) has found a way to blend them into a compelling and distinctive form. His eclectic, high-energy style—which he calls "dred violin"—continues to earn praise throughout all corners of the music world. This stunning original performance features DBR, vocals, violin and piano; Wynne Bennett, keyboards, laptop and piano; and Elan Vytal (aka DJ Scientific), turntables and beat-boxing (vocal percussion).
