The Office of Cultural & Special Events at UNC Asheville works to extend classroom learning by providing a wide array of diverse programs that enrich, educate and
entertain our students, campus community and the community-at-large. Our presentations feature world-class, professional performing artists and major speakers.

The Office of Cultural Events presents 5 to 9 major touring performing artists between September and April and 5 to 7 summer outdoor concerts featuring mainly NC artists each June and July.

We also support many other campus arts performances and presentations throughout the year and often collaborate with other area arts venues and presenters.

Our programs are designed to complement the liberal arts course of study for our undergraduate students by providing arts experiences they may not see anywhere else in Asheville.

Nearly all our offerings will have campus and/or community lecture/demonstrations, pre- or post-performance discussions, workshops and open rehearsals. These are extra chances to meet these influential artists and speakers up close and personal and learn more about how and why they do what
they do.

CASE is a member of the NC Presenters Consortium. The 150 member venues of the
NC Presenters Consortium and calendars of their events may be visited at
