Mission Statement

The Financial Affairs Office, a division of Finance and Operations, is committed to providing quality and timely customer service to the university community in accordance with university, local, state and federal regulations.  Services provided assist UNC Asheville in perpetuating the climate for quality education necessary for a successful public liberal arts university.  The Financial Affairs Office major areas of responsibility include cash receipts, cash disbursements, student loan collections, payroll, fixed assets accounting, endowment accounting, and purchasing.  This area prepares fiscal reports and maintains records for all university departments (including capital improvements, fixed assets, and the UNC Asheville Endowment) and the UNC Asheville Foundation.
