2006–07 Costs (per semester)

Tuition Due Dates:   

Fall semester tuition is due August 7, 2006

Spring semester tuition is due December 15, 2006

 

Students are expected to pay by the dates above for any portion of their tuition, fees, room, and board that will not be covered by financial aid, scholarships, Voc Rehab, VA benefits, or a payment plan through Tuition Management Services.

**Tuition rates are subject to change by the General Assembly**

Matriculation Fee
A matriculation fee of $20.00 per semester is assessed for all degree-seeking students pro-rated for 1/4 time, 1/2 time, 3/4 time and full time.

A matriculation fee of $5.00 per semester is assessed for all non-degree seeking students.

Orientation Fee
There is a one-time orientation fee of $100.00 charged to all new freshmen and transfer students.

Senior Citizens Tuition Waiver
Senior citizens (North Carolina residents who are age 65 or older) may receive a tuition waiver and register on a space-available basis only. To receive this waiver, senior citizens must register on the day of Late Registration as published in the Schedule of Classes. Senior citizens are required to pay UNC Asheville fees.
