Hardware for UNCA Faculty and Staff

University departments provide funds for the purchase of office desktop computers. Hardware and software purchases will be facilitated by ITS. ITS configures new systems according to UNCA ITS security standards and installs a standard set of software. 

A new employee will receive a new or reconditioned computer which has been configured and is ready for use.

Purchasing Personal Computers

The UNCA is not a computer sales outlet.  However, we will pass on to our faculty, staff and students websites for purchase of Windows and Apple hardware with an educational discount.
