Founded in the fall of 2002, the UNC-A Classical Society is open to all students at UNC-A who share an interest in the ancient world. This year's co-consuls organized meetings, a movie night to watch "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and a Bake Sale to raise money for the Society's service activities. Our service project this spring was a trip to Emma Elementary School in West Asheville to teach a second grade class about the Roman calendar.
