Welcome to the Department of Classics |

The Department of Classics offers BA degrees in Latin, Greek, and Classics as well as teacher licensure in Latin, with additional course offerings in Hebrew language and literature, Greek and Italian art and archaeology, and Classical Civilization. We offer our students the advantages of a private Liberal Arts setting in the public sphere, offering individualized attention, a rigorous curriculum, local Latin teaching internships, opportunities for study abroad, an active program of undergraduate research, and a committed faculty actively engaged in outreach, teaching and research.
