UNCA's D. Hiden Ramsey Library has a sizeable collection of books of Jewish interest. The Library has published a Pathfinder guide to help users of the library work with the Judaica collection, and has mounted several exhibits relevant to Jewish life. One of the important goals of The Center for Jewish Studies is to augment and enrich the Ramsey Judaica collection to provide a major area resource for scholars. Contributions of books and money to extend the Judaica collection are welcomed; special Center bookplates provide a method of honoring a donor or a person in whose name a donation is made.

The Center is interested in acquiring further important archival material, including biographies, autobiographies, journals and letters; photographs; institutional records; genealogical materials; and sound and video recordings.
