We will not be reading names of all twelve million victims (half of whom were Jewish). Only a small
portion of victims are known by name. One day is not sufficient to read even this small portion. At one name per second, 24 hours a day, it
would take five months to read twelve million names.
Student groups, individual students,
faculty, administrators and community members will read names on the main quad of UNC-Asheville at the steps of Ramsey Library.
